My name is Harkiran Bharij.
I hold a BA in Sociology (University of Westminster) and an MSc in Development Studies (LSE). My areas of interest are international development, gender equality, poverty, African and Chinese development. Through the years, I have developed a passion for writing and research, both of which I have gained experience in.
This website is a simple way to show what I love, learn and want to showcase to the world.
DEVELOPMENTAL INSIGHTS
In 2025, I started Developmental Insights, my own newsletter so that I could write about international development. Every week I alternate between posting five stories from the sector and a deep dive into a topical issue.
